From there, you’ll dive into the fundamentals of ventilating, where you’ll learn the essential tools, materials, and knotting techniques used to create natural-looking lace wigs.

Module 2: Wig Refronting Fundamentals

In Module 2, you’ll be introduced to the art of wig refronting and how it can transform factory-made wigs into more refined designs. You’ll learn how to refront wig caps and practice reshaping a wig hairline on a stock wig to understand the fundamentals of hairline customization.

Module 3: Initial Fitting & Pattern Creation

In Module 3, you’ll begin transitioning into semi-bespoke wig design by learning how to take measurements and create a head wrap pattern for your model. This step introduces the process of preparing wigs for a more customized fit.

Module 4: Custom Head Mold Creation

In Module 4, you’ll learn how to create a custom head mold using the stuffing technique. This process allows you to replicate the shape of your model’s head and prepare a foundation for building more personalized wigs.

Module 5: Wig Refronting

In Module 5, you’ll learn the Art of Wig Refronting by restructuring wig foundations and performing advanced refronting techniques from hairline refronts to parting refronts on synthetic and human hair wigs. You’ll learn how to customize wig hairlines, adjust lace placement, and reshape wigs into semi-bespoke designs.

Module 6: Ventilating

In Module 6, you’ll bring everything together by ventilating the wigs you’ve created throughout the course. This final stage allows you to complete the first pieces of your professional sample wig collection and showcase your craftsmanship.
